Monday Buddha statue
Brass Birthday Buddha statue, a miniature lucky statue that fits the day someone is born. The symbolism originates from the Ayutthaya period in Thailand, when every day of the week was represented by a specific Buddha.
Monday Buddha – “Pacifying Relatives” – Pang Ham Yati
Monday Buddha is standing with the right hand raised to shoulder height with the palm out, and fingers extended, known as the Abhaya Mudra. When Buddha returned from heaven after three months, his relatives were arguing about the rights to water flowing through their land. Buddha persuaded them to stop quarrelling and to compromise.
