While following the structure of a standard 78-card tarot, the major arcana depict figures from Roman history and the Bible. There is evidence suggesting that the Sola Busca provided major influences upon the design of the much-later Rider-Waite-Smith tarot. This edition initially issued in a limited printing of 2,999 individually numbered copies in 2017. After the limited print run was exhausted, Lo Scarabeo re-released (in 2019) the high-quality reprint in a premium hardcover box with 144-page softcover guidebook by Paola Gnaccolini.
